The plans are set and the trucks are loading. Soon we will be in Camden Maine setting up another great POP!Tech experience. TCondon is proud to be contributing yet again to the design of such an invigorating weekend. We have been involved the last five years and it is an amazing event. The Parlor by Steelcase will be all-new– check it out in the old Knox Mill. Try out one of the bamboo bikes and let your voice be heard by contributing to the graffiti wall. The content of this great event couldn’t be more appropriate: The World Rebalancing. The description on the POP!Tech website is intriguing: “We are in the midst of a great realignment – a series of connected and converging revolutions in technology, economics, ecology, energy, geopolitics and culture that mark the end of one global era and the beginning of another. The world is rebalancing.” Stay tuned for photos and highlights after the event.
Wood TV begins shooting from their temporary studio at the Grand Rapids Art Museum for Art Prize. We designed their new set using Steelcase products to create a close connection to the action of Art Prize – a huge event for Grand Rapids. Artists from around the world compete for the top prize of $250,000. Wood TV will be in the heart of the action, with live interviews and camera shots that will capture the excitement and energy of this great event. Plus, they will be enjoying the new set and some of the best products from Steelcase.

Since its debut in 2003, The Wall Street Journal’s D: All Things Digital conference has been breaking news, highlighting innovation, and bringing conversations with influential figures in media and technology. Nearly a decade’s worth of innovation has unfolded on the D stage and D9 was no exception.
Working closely with the D creators has been great. They share a vision of the experience and the space, and empower our team to make it happen. It’s like jumping onto a moving train; exhilarating and exciting to be part of something powerful while knowing that you will learn a ton and see amazing new things.
I received a nice note from my client for the All Things Digital conference, Lia L. Kennett, the Managing Producer: “D9 was stunning! The infusion of new product and the pops of color you included in the exhibit and public areas were gorgeous. I loved what you did.”
The team at Xibitz is busy packing up the Guardian booth at this moment. Poised to make an impressive showing at GlassBuild America, we pulled together some of the existing displays and created a few new ones for the show. It all starts on Sept. 12th in Atlanta and the world will get another chance to see all the cool products that Guardian has to offer.
“Yes, you are in the right place.” That’s the response to the surprised look on patient’s faces as they enter the new waiting room of Block & Nation. When the doors closed on a Friday afternoon, our crews went to work. And by Sunday afternoon the office had a new lease on life. We filled the space with warm, rich colors and complementary textures to help give a calm and relaxed environment for the patients. We also created distinct spaces within the waiting room; seating for viewing the Accent Health news, private areas, and a new children’s play area.

The comments by Truran are the best reward to the many hours spent creating TEDActive in Palm Springs. Pulling from favorite settings of the past and blending in new ideas created a space to love.
The set up was brutal, but I’m finding everyone involved in setting up TEDGlobal to be the best people to work with. The highlight of my work here is the simulcast space in Cromdale Hall. It has a great feel – packed all the time. It’s a mix of different simulcast settings, exhibits from the speakers, and interactive installation. Everyone seems to be loving it.
Outdoor, Lobby and Guest Room – with a little imagination you can see the 3 settings designed for the hospitality market. Steelcase Coalesse furniture is so great to work with – I love it all but unfortunately just can’t afford to fill my house with it. It does make pulling together a beautiful booth pretty easy. The outdoor furniture is by Emu – a company in Italy that has an agreement to sell through Coalesse.
Working on the Guardian InGlass booth – a big introduction of their interior glass collection including 4 patterns designed by Joel Berman. It’s coming together really well. I’ll share the professional photos when I get my hands on them.
